This ball is framed with a metal or plastic housing using stainless steel shafts, ABEC grade bearings, dual optical encoders, providing a MTBF > 100,000 hours and a MIL-HDBK-217F rating. These aerospace grade trackballs have a NEMA 4 (IP65) sealing in static position and NEMA 12 (IP54) in dynamic motion. The housed Printed Circuit Board offers quadrature output via a 10-pin connector. This Open Frame (exposed) electronics is used by an Original Equipment Manufacturer to mount into a sealed enclosure or panel.

          Panel Mount Trackball – A digital interface PCB is combined with the OEM Trackball, mounted into a metal plate with cover (enclosed) and offers either a PS/2 or USB cable. Optionally, these trackball can be protected from intense vibration or exposure to high humidity, condensation, or extreme operating temperature conditions. Reliable and durable, these industrial input devices feature gray or black silicone rubber molding, gold plating and a ribbon cable. CTI's SYN-Proof™ coating provides protection against harsh oils and solvents. 

CTI's custom sealed switches are ruggedized to meet aerospace, medical, and military standards. Product Information

These industrial OEM switches are molded silicone rubber, three button industrial switches, and are available from stock with 0, 1 or 3 LED indicators. These OEM switches are very compact in design, and are made with gold plating and a ribbon cable. 

Standard colors are gray or black; custom colors and custom legends are available. CTI's C200XA Series industrial switch assembly is the ideal switch for industrial or medical applications because of its small footprint, NEMA 4 (IP66) sealing, and CTI's SYN-Proof™ coating for protection against harsh oils and solvents.

NEMA 4 Six Button Industrial Switch Assembly

Product Information

This general purpose NEMA 4 (IP66) sealing industrial switch has six push buttons and offers a generic S1 through S6 legend.  The molded silicone rubber has an o-ring seal, a 2mm travel key stroke, and an excellent tactile response.  The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) has thick gold plating over nickel contacts ensure long life, rated at over 10 million actuations at 5VDC with a maximum 50mA input. The entire industrial switch assembly measures 1.8 inches by 1.9 inches and requires less than 0.5 inches of panel depth.  The C6010 Model is a general purpose, debris and water resistant, industrial sealed switch device that is ideal for harsh environments and/or extreme operating temperatures ranges (-40°C to +80°C).   The C6010 industrial sealed switches have a high immunity to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency Interference (RFI).   These push button sealed switches can be manufactured with or without backlighting.  The backlit or illuminated option is either all LED’s on or selectable on/off.  This Six Push Button Sealed Switch is available to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) with custom legends.
