This ball is framed with a metal or plastic housing using stainless steel shafts, ABEC grade bearings, dual optical encoders, providing a MTBF > 100,000 hours and a MIL-HDBK-217F rating. These aerospace grade trackballs have a NEMA 4 (IP65) sealing in static position and NEMA 12 (IP54) in dynamic motion. The housed Printed Circuit Board offers quadrature output via a 10-pin connector. This Open Frame (exposed) electronics is used by an Original Equipment Manufacturer to mount into a sealed enclosure or panel.

          Panel Mount Trackball – A digital interface PCB is combined with the OEM Trackball, mounted into a metal plate with cover (enclosed) and offers either a PS/2 or USB cable. NEMA 4 (IP66) OEM ArrowMouse™ (Arrow Key Mouse Pointers)

Product Information

The AP2000 Series are high reliability, drift-free, sealed pointers with a low profile and small footprint. These rugged OEM mouse pointers are extremely reliable in wet, harsh environments and critical applications. The ArrowMouse™ is molded of silicone rubber with 2mm of travel for excellent tactile response; and has gold over nickel contacts for high reliability. Gold plated contacts ensure a very long life with over 10M activations. Besides separate left and right mouse keys, the computer mouse pointers have four other direction keys that allow for cursor movement in eight directions, with variable speed or single pixel control.

The ArrowMouse™ arrow key mouse pointer is a cost effective solution in a miniaturized package, measuring 1.8 by 1.9 inches and requiring less than .5 inch of panel depth. This series is available with backlighting (illumination); and with custom length cables, or wired to your specification. These industrial computer input devices have versions for all types of computers that are port compatible (PS/2 or USB), requiring no special software drivers.

CTI's custom OEM pointing devices are ruggedized to meet aerospace, medical, and military standards. CTI's OEM pointing devices can meet MIL-STD-167-1, MIL-STD-901D, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-810G, and MIL-HDBK-217F. These OEM pointing devices are able to withstand vibration, shock, high EMI/RFI levels, compliant for humidity, fungus, spray, and MTBF is greater than 100,000 hours.

NEMA 4 (IP66) OEM Industrial Mouse™

Product Information

The F10X0 Series is CTI's Industrial Mouse™( joystick cursor controller), it's an OEM industrial computer mouse pointer.These space saving mouse pointers that have one sealed "point and click" button in the handle for easy panel mounting. The miniature joystick only requires a 1.65 inch square footprint and 7/8 inch depth for the handle, as the interface PCB can be located anywhere beneath the panel. These rugged mouse pointers allow for custom OEM mouse switches to be wired directly to the PCB, in which case any of the alternate eight knob options can be substituted.

When mounted to a panel, the computer mouse pointers assembly provides NEMA 4 (IP66) sealing. Options include joystick knob selection with Serial, PS/2 or USB interface, and custom length cables or special wiring as required.

In addition, this series can also be used as control input devices instead of traditional computer mouse pointers. The USB FlightStick is an industrial input device that offers real-time response rates with pin-point precise accuracy for a broad range of application possibilities. These industrial computer input devices are ideally suited for harsh environments, precision instruments, and restricted spaces. A few of the industries benefiting from the USB FlightStick are aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, medical, and military.

CTI's custom OEM pointing devices are ruggedized to meet aerospace, medical, and military standards. CTI's OEM pointing devices can meet MIL-STD-167-1, MIL-STD-901D, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-810G, and MIL-HDBK-217F. Product Information

The F80X0 Series are OEM industrial computer mouse pointers. These NEMA 4 (IP66) Industrial Mouse™ pointers have a separate joystick control knob wired to the interface PCB and switch assembly, allowing the designer to locate the switches in any position relative to the handle. As with all of our Industrial Mouse™ products, the handle is available with a choice of eight different knobs including the "point and click" option. Standard options include joystick knob, Serial, PS/2 or USB interface, and cabling.

The switch assembly is molded silicone with 2mm travel and has gold over nickel contacts for both tactile response and reliability. When mounted to your panel, the computer mouse pointers assembly provides NEMA 4 (IP66) sealing.

CTI's OrbitalMouse®, sealed mouse pointers, are high reliability industrial computer mouse pointers with a low-profile button style pointer. The OM2000 Series is designed for OEM applications where the mouse buttons are provided by the OEM. It has various options such as backlighting (OM2000-BX) in red or green, as well as cable styles and lengths. The dimensions are 1.65 by 2.05 inches and require less than .70 inches behind the panel; the perfect alternative to touchpads. For applications requiring less panel depth, right angle headers can be supplied. Available interfaces are PS/2 or USB and do not require any special drivers or calibration.
